Paganism in the Church

Posted by [email protected] on September 29, 2018 at 6:25 PM Comments comments (0)

"Samuel said, “Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. “For rebellion is as the sin of divination, And insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry. …” [1Sa 15:22-23 NASB]

It’s amazing to me how many Christians are still observing Halloween. Churches even opening their doors to it; hiding behind the term Harvest Festival or the like to give our children an alternative to Trick or Treating, rather than telling them “it is better to obey the Lord” as in I Samuel 15:22 and to have reverential fear of the Almighty God.

As I’ve searched the virtual highway for books on the subject of Halloween, I found that many of our churches have become more accepting of the festivities of Halloween; however, removing some of its symbols (continuing to refer to it as “Harvest Fest” or the like)

and others call those who make the distinction, haters or anti-Semitics. But I look at that as the signs of the time.”

The church is well aware that YAH does not permit us to substitute pagan holidays with something that has the appearances of Christian origin. He wants us to NOT observe it at all!

The Church needs to tell the truth!

“Halloween is a pagan, Celtic (Irish/Scottish/Welsh) folklore. This is the beginning of the Wicken new year. (According to various dictionaries, Wicken is elusively summized as an occult practice of pagan witchcraft or religion involving pagan gods, blood offerings and altar worship.)

Their festival was called Samhain (pronounced: sow-an). This is the actual origin of Halloween which was a setting for supernatural encounters.”

Pumpkin (Jack-0-lantern) on the porch –Carving of originally the turnip, later replaced by the pumpkin, the Willow Wisp, with the 1 candle positioned in the center, left on door steps is purposed to ward off evil spirits. It also symbolizes that a child has already been taken from this home as a child sacrifice.

Jack-o-Lantern means “night watchman”.[1]

Haystack/Bonfires – A pagan custom, “designed to burn quickly or to be very large, to warm the friendly spirits and ward off the evil spirits.”[2]

Haystacks: This place out in the fields, is symbolic of where children were sacrificed in the haystack during druid, Celtic, pagan ceremonies during the Halloween festivities. And if you know anything about the Old Testament “ites” you know that the enemies of God, the Moabites & Ammonites were known for children sacrifices. And as we learned in my book, “The Real Battlefield, the “Moabites, are also known by the deviant abominable spirits, incest, idolatry, and abortion”.

Again, the Moabites & Ammonites are the descendants of Lot’s daughters who had sex with their father after the destruction of Sodom & Gomorrah, thinking that they were the only ones to survive; and to continue the bloodline of Lot. So out of the descendants of the daughters, came the cities of Moab and Ammon.

Like their sister nation, Moab, the male descendants of Lot in Ammon also married pagan women. And these women worshipped the god Molech. A statue of Molech was the instrument used by which the peoples would cause their babies to “pass through”[1] the fire as a sacrifice to him this idol god.”

[1] II Kings 23:10; Leviticus 18:21

Today many children and young adults go missing around this time of year; some succumbing to these rituals that are still practiced in this end time hour during Halloween or may be saved for other ritualistic opportunities that arise during the year.

With so many people “missing” in a blink of an eye, and never found, the Church needs to address this truth! Sex trafficking and child sacrifices are centered around this holiday. Where do they get the blood? It is not from calves and bulls.

Door to Door – “Trick or Treat” – This tradition was formerly called suling in Ireland “where children and poor people would sing and say prayers for the dead for return of cakes and bread.”[1] Candy and treats were given to keep the spirits at bay. “If treats were not left for the spirits, then they would leave a “trick” for you.[2]

[1] Excerpt from “The Truth About Halloween, YouTube Video by Pastor Fred Price Jr., Ever Increasing Faith Ministries, Published, 10/31/2013.

In order to protect themselves from the evil spirits, the child must do a magical trick to receive a treat (at that time was a lump of coal to be used for the sacrificial fire).

The Halloween Costume – During the Inquisition[1], the Christians that stayed behind had to learn to “blend in” with the pagans so as not to be uncovered; so that the child could participate and “blend in” (be taken as one) with the spirits that are believed to be running loose on this particular 1 day of the year. Communicating with those spirits were called suling.

Suling is a part of the tradition of All Saints Day.

And if you don’t think witches aren’t still doing this while you’re pretending you’re observing Harvest Festival, you are amazingly ignorant!

Bobbing for Apples – derived from the goddess Pomona and the druid rite associated with water; another reference to the symbol of fertility.

[1] Wikipedia: “… a group of institutions within the government system of the Catholic Church whose aim was to combat heresy.”; to non-Catholics, it is a scandal.

So, this fun holiday with the appearances that it will just give the children a time of excitement and play, was designed purposely to use them as sacrifices to pagan idols. Yet, the Church looks the other way, while our children are drawn to observe it from another perspective instead of exposing and abolishing such works, ideologies and principles from the church altogether with the truth that will draw them out of ignorance while the enemy continues to strategize against them!

Halloween is a pagan holiday and Christians need to line up with the Word of God and let go of paganistic cultures and traditions and honor the Moeds that YAH has commanded us to follow (Leviticus 23) that the Church should be teaching; but most are not.

So when you are “NOT” celebrating these pagan holidays but observing a new tradition in their place, you are still disobeying the ordinances of YAHUAH.

“For, as we draw closer to the end of days, the enemy is going to try to deceive you to think that you have faltered in your decision making and understanding, as he did Eve in the garden. Don’t you be wine-bread-bibletaken in as Eve was by satan’s cunning, deceptive mannerisms.

Just simply do what YAH has commanded us to do.”

Wake Up!

TESHUVAH: RETURN TO HIM in your ways, customs and His ordinances.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12) 10There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

11Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

12For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Prepared to Move

If you have read my Spiritual Bio, you know that I have been in ministry to date for 30+ years; originally stepping up as Children’s Church Director, training parents to become Teachers and children to become Warriors. And a few years later, stabilizing my foundation in Prayer as an Intercessory Prayer Warrior, Teacher, Writer, Evangelist, Prophet(ess), Pastor and Apostle. I have learned over the years that we are not called to Evangelize, Teach and Preach our 'minds' or to compete with others out of vain glory; but to submit ourselves as the mouthpiece of YAH. As we look at the Old Testament Prophets we know that they were not always “on” duty. There were times that we see them farming, fishing, even sleeping, doing regular things with regular folks. So we know that they had a period of R&R (rest and relaxation) and were not always found on the battlefield.

As we look back at the original Israelites, whether to rest or to move forward with Him, we see them moving; not pondering or contemplating, but instantly, at the command of YAH picking up their tents and running behind Him.

[Num 9:20-23 KJV] 20 And [so] it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. 21 And [so] it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and [that] the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether [it was] by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. 22 Or [whether it were] two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. 23 At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

I say this to say, I’ve recently been on sabbatical[1]. Not one of us is called to “do it all”. We are warned not to pride fully see our own selves as God’s hero, for we know that as with Elijah, though we (alone) may slay 450, YAH may have “7,000” set aside for His purpose. We are not His lone rangers. And He is not going to give us the whole strategy or plan. Therefore, there comes a time that He silences Himself from us (individually) that we may take time (Shabbat/cease) to rest from what He had strengthened us to do and revive or regenerate us for what is about to come.

So, that’s where I have been these past few months of silence. As I have mentioned before, I speak when He speaks to/through me, and not of myself. As some do to evoke followers, I can’t make up a Word from the Lord. I submit myself to Him who speaks through me. And only say and do as He instructs.

And as Moses found himself ostracized by the One who had been with him through 40 years of wilderness, I am cautious to stand still when He silences His voice to me (in leadership). And I move forward when He moves in my presence. So while there have been no recent teleconferences and prayer calls, I have been (at the unction of the Lord) busying myself, separating my ministries that He entrusts me and my family with from social media, and establishing our locations back to our websites.

Now that that is done, my ear continues to be attentive to His still small voice which is now beckoning me back to Him, for instructions as I have also transitioned our prayer line from the Talkshoe site to a more private Free Conference Call.com line where we (who are called by His name) will be more focused on just prayer. Subsequently, our Talkshoe line will revert back to our teaching platform where we are currently seeking Prayer Moderators as we draw into a 24/7 prayer line.

I await His instructions regarding this Fellowships' direction.

Grace & Peace,

Apostle Ramona

[1] Sabbatical or a sabbatical (from Hebrew: shabbat (שבת (i.e., Sabbath), in Latin: sabbaticus, in Greek: sabbatikos (σαββατικός, literally a "ceasing") is a rest from work, or a break, often lasting from one month to a year. The concept of sabbatical has a source in shmita, described in several places in the Bible. Wikipedia.com

The Divining Trigger

Posted by [email protected] on May 16, 2018 at 1:50 PM Comments comments (0)

We were all awakened this morning to the news media asking the question, "what WORD do you hear?", when they then replayed a particular audio recording. I know that the media is used to manipulate the people. And after hearing the word, I heard neither word they had given as a choice. So I went on about my day.

By the end of the evening, however, my daughter came in playing the same sound, posing the same question. This time, my husband and I heard one of the words, while she heard the other. This caused me to listen to my inner spirit prompting me to pay attention to this deceptive way that the enemy is planning to deceive as I also recall some recent events where shooters (of recent mass shootings here in America)  have stated hearing voices telling them to do this, gave them detailed instructions. They heard voices.

In this end time hour, if the enemy can audibly manipulate with one word, as with us today, what form of divination will he use to divert our attentions, causing us to second guess what we hear or use what we hear for his own destruction? I believe these words may also be "trigger" words as used by magicians (witchcraft/divination) to manipulate or prompt behaviors at the very sound or frequency, or just by that word itself.

As we pray to our Father, YAH today, let us pray that every chain to the cunning ways of the beast (through divination and witchcraft) be broken as we take the armor and the weapon of warfare, the ax, to and through the root of deception that it return no more!

I rebuke that divining spirit of witchcraft that is assigned to deceive and motivate the people of YAH to ungodly actions, activity or responses triggered by key words deceptively incited to cause them to fall and turn from their covenant with YAH. I call upon the angels of YAH to protect us from the wiles of YAHs enemies.

We speak the word of wisdom and knowledge and understanding over the lives of the People of YAH, that we be able to see the truth vividly.

One Day of Rest - Part 2

As I continue my thought & prayers regarding the 7th Day Rest:

We must even rest from shopping. Some of us may find that shopping "relaxes" us; however, Shopping, cooking, and the like, are 'no-no's' as well.

Nehemiah Chapter 13, talks about how Nehemiah protected the people from the lure of vendors on the Sabbath; barring the spirit of disobedience from the camp, for that 1 day.

Nehemiah 13:15-22

15 "In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner ofburdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals. 16There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem. 17¶Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing isthis that ye do, and profane the sabbath day? 18Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath. 19¶And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.  20So the merchants and sellers of all kind of ware lodged without Jerusalem once or twice. 21¶Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath. 22And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.  Nehemiah threatened physical harm if they (these regular vendors) dared to breach the gates of Judah to enter into the sacredness of that 7th Day Sabbath. This reminds me of the time that Yeshua Himself went into a physical rage tossing the tables on the steps of the Sanctuary because the "vendors" had made the House of YAH, a den of thieves."

The Sabbath is a day to be protected. YAH cares so much about your ability to rest that 1 day, saying that that 1 day makes a lifetime of difference to you, the land, your children and theirs, that He went as far as punishment to His people (called by His name, Yahudah) for not upholding this day. It may seem that He was letting them slide, but eventually, His word (of warning) manifested and the Israelites had to take what was coming to them. And because they did not have an appropriate “ransom”, their repentance did not rebuke the curse of the law.

In my Teleconference podcasts I have spoken of how they repented of their rebellion yet still had to suffer the consequences.

Baruch 1:15-22 (Apocrypha)

“And you shall say: The Lord our God is in the right, but there is open shame on us today, on the people of Judah, on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and on our kings, our rulers, our priests, our prophets, and our ancestors, because we have sinned before the Lord.

We have disobeyed him, and have not heeded the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in the statues of the Lord that he set before us. From the time when the Lord brought our ancestors out of the land of Egypt until today, we have been disobedient to the Lord our God, and we have been negligent, in not heeding his voice. So to this day there have clung to us the calamities and the curse that the Lord declared through his servant Moses at the time when he brought our ancestors out of the land of Egypt to give to us a land flowing with milk and honey.  We did not listen to the voice of the Lord our God in all the words of the prophets whom he sent to us, but all of us followed the intent of our own wicked hearts by serving other gods and doing what is evil in the sight of the Lord our God.”

I am attempting to help you understand that because you may not think you have sinned does not nix the truth that "all have sinned and fallen short".  . If YAHUAH has called us out and pointed out where we have failed the covenant, we are to search ourselves, repent and get back into right standing according to his will.

This will help you to pray according to the word and not according to your own heart out of your emotion rather than lining that word up with the Word of God.

Repent like the Hebrews in Baruch 2:6-10 (Apocrypha)

“The Lord our God is in the right, but there is open shame on us and our ancestors this very day. All those calamities with which the Lord threatened us have come upon us. Yet we have not entreated the favor of the Lord by turning away, each of us, from the thoughts of our wicked hearts. And the Lord has kept the calamities ready and the Lord has brought them upon us, for the Lord is just in all the works that he had commanded us to do. Yet we have not obeyed His voice, to walk in the statutes of the Lord that he set before us.”

More and more we must learn to die to self. Nobody can do this for you. It's personal, as I teach in my book, "Hindrances to Prayer". Somebody else can't stop eating for you and you expect to lose weight. You've got to do this for yourself.

His word itself tells us that we have sinned against YAH's ordinances (BEGINNING WITH OUR ANCESTORS) by not keeping his commandments (the 4th of which is to remember the Sabbath and keep it holy); and we've got to repent and make it right. TESHUVAH.

I am so glad that we live in a time that we no longer have to "suffer" the consequences, but can turn to the Father (YAH) and Teshuvah (repent and return to Him) because we have been Redeemed from the curse of the law. The laws still stand. Yet we are redeemed from the curse that was attached to them.

Prayer of Repentance Baruch 2:11-18 (Apocrypha)

"11 And now, O Lord God of Israel, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand and with signs and wonders and with great power and outstretched arm, and made yourself a name that continues to this day, we have sinned, we have been ungodly, we have done wrong, O Lord our God, against all your ordinances.

Let your anger turn away from us, for we are left, few in number, among the nations where you have scattered us. Hear, O Lord our prayer and our supplication, and for your own sake deliver us, and grant us favor in the sight of those who have carried us into exile, so that all the earth may know that you are the Lord our God, for Israel and his descendants are called by your name.

16 O Lord, look down from your holy dwelling, and consider us. Incline your ear, O Lord, and hear; open your eyes, O Lord, and see, for the dead who are in Hades, whose spirit has been taken from their bodies, will not ascribe glory or justice to the Lord, but the person who is deeply grieved, who walked bowed and feeble, with failing eyes and famished soul, will declare your glory and righteousness, O Lord."

Exodus 16:28-30

28And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?

29See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

30So the people rested on the seventh day.

Isaiah 56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

One Day of Rest - Part 1

Posted by [email protected] on May 1, 2018 at 10:30 AM Comments comments (0)

I've onlyjust recently begun routinely honoring the Seventh Day Sabbath this year; since I have become more aware of the emphasis of the day and understand that obedience is a true compartment of celebrating this day set aside by YAH as the holiest day, in Genesis Chapter 1. Its significance embedded in its premise that it is a day of rest not only for me, but also for everything that I may come in contact with.

It is a day that acknowledges Creation by respecfully giving over the rightsand homage to this day back to Almighty YAH; not providing for ourselves, but allowing the true Provider (Jehovah Jireh) to supply every need in this 1 day. Making no plans for my day. Allowing the day to proceed on its own without my interjection.

In the little time that I have been acknowledging the 7th Day Sabbath, I have finally learned to "rest". As a matter of fact, I finally learned to live the definition of the word "rest". For it was only this past Sabbath that I felt the true impact of resting. I don't work a 9 to 5 like many of you may. So, you would think that I would have already known the meaning of the word, yet, I can truly say that the Sabbath rest is different from the other six days. Those days I may "nap" or delay my errands, but their thoughts and my duties are still "on my mind" (in the back of my mind) still waiting to be fulfilled.

But that 7th Day Sabbath rest is totally different. Nothing on my mind but pleasing the Father, the Creator, El Shaddai, the one who sits high and looks low as I take in the beauty of His Creations, thanking Him for each and every one.

I am not to impose on the rights of the land to "rest" as well; every seventh day, every seventh year. His word reminds us that the Sabbath “rest” allows the land and even our own bodies to recupperate, restore, replenish what was expended on those six days, that we may continue with a fresh new six days until a new Sabbath evolves.   It brings to mind the reason for the condition of the earth as well as our own bodies that we have learned to medicate and exercise our infirmities away.

If man does not rest, he, nor the earth cannot replenish itself.

[Lev 26:34-35 NASB] 34 'Then the land will enjoy its sabbaths all the days of the desolation, while you are in your enemies' land; then the land will rest and enjoy its sabbaths. 35 'All the days of its desolation it will observe the rest which it did not observe on your sabbaths, while you were living on it.

[Exo 23:10-12 NASB] 10 "You shall sow your land for six years and gather in its yield, 11 but on the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, so that the needy of your people may eat; and whatever they leave the beast of the field may eat. You are to do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove. 12 "Six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you shall cease from labor so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female slave, as well as your stranger, may refresh themselves.

The results of mankind’s disobedience are seen in the deterioration of our earth today. By not resting, we have imposed ourselves on all of creation imposing our right to chose whether we should "rest" or not on animals, the land and the universe around us.
