Paganism in the Church

"Samuel said, “Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. “For rebellion is as the sin of divination, And insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry. …” [1Sa 15:22-23 NASB]
It’s amazing to me how many Christians are still observing Halloween. Churches even opening their doors to it; hiding behind the term Harvest Festival or the like to give our children an alternative to Trick or Treating, rather than telling them “it is better to obey the Lord” as in I Samuel 15:22 and to have reverential fear of the Almighty God.
As I’ve searched the virtual highway for books on the subject of Halloween, I found that many of our churches have become more accepting of the festivities of Halloween; however, removing some of its symbols (continuing to refer to it as “Harvest Fest” or the like)
and others call those who make the distinction, haters or anti-Semitics. But I look at that as the signs of the time.”
The church is well aware that YAH does not permit us to substitute pagan holidays with something that has the appearances of Christian origin. He wants us to NOT observe it at all!
The Church needs to tell the truth!
“Halloween is a pagan, Celtic (Irish/Scottish/Welsh) folklore. This is the beginning of the Wicken new year. (According to various dictionaries, Wicken is elusively summized as an occult practice of pagan witchcraft or religion involving pagan gods, blood offerings and altar worship.)
Their festival was called Samhain (pronounced: sow-an). This is the actual origin of Halloween which was a setting for supernatural encounters.”
Pumpkin (Jack-0-lantern) on the porch –Carving of originally the turnip, later replaced by the pumpkin, the Willow Wisp, with the 1 candle positioned in the center, left on door steps is purposed to ward off evil spirits. It also symbolizes that a child has already been taken from this home as a child sacrifice.
Jack-o-Lantern means “night watchman”.[1]
Haystack/Bonfires – A pagan custom, “designed to burn quickly or to be very large, to warm the friendly spirits and ward off the evil spirits.”[2]

Haystacks: This place out in the fields, is symbolic of where children were sacrificed in the haystack during druid, Celtic, pagan ceremonies during the Halloween festivities. And if you know anything about the Old Testament “ites” you know that the enemies of God, the Moabites & Ammonites were known for children sacrifices. And as we learned in my book, “The Real Battlefield, the “Moabites, are also known by the deviant abominable spirits, incest, idolatry, and abortion”.
Again, the Moabites & Ammonites are the descendants of Lot’s daughters who had sex with their father after the destruction of Sodom & Gomorrah, thinking that they were the only ones to survive; and to continue the bloodline of Lot. So out of the descendants of the daughters, came the cities of Moab and Ammon.
Like their sister nation, Moab, the male descendants of Lot in Ammon also married pagan women. And these women worshipped the god Molech. A statue of Molech was the instrument used by which the peoples would cause their babies to “pass through”[1] the fire as a sacrifice to him this idol god.”

Today many children and young adults go missing around this time of year; some succumbing to these rituals that are still practiced in this end time hour during Halloween or may be saved for other ritualistic opportunities that arise during the year.
With so many people “missing” in a blink of an eye, and never found, the Church needs to address this truth! Sex trafficking and child sacrifices are centered around this holiday. Where do they get the blood? It is not from calves and bulls.
Door to Door – “Trick or Treat” – This tradition was formerly called suling in Ireland “where children and poor people would sing and say prayers for the dead for return of cakes and bread.”[1] Candy and treats were given to keep the spirits at bay. “If treats were not left for the spirits, then they would leave a “trick” for you.[2]

In order to protect themselves from the evil spirits, the child must do a magical trick to receive a treat (at that time was a lump of coal to be used for the sacrificial fire).
The Halloween Costume – During the Inquisition[1], the Christians that stayed behind had to learn to “blend in” with the pagans so as not to be uncovered; so that the child could participate and “blend in” (be taken as one) with the spirits that are believed to be running loose on this particular 1 day of the year. Communicating with those spirits were called suling.
Suling is a part of the tradition of All Saints Day.
And if you don’t think witches aren’t still doing this while you’re pretending you’re observing Harvest Festival, you are amazingly ignorant!
Bobbing for Apples – derived from the goddess Pomona and the druid rite associated with water; another reference to the symbol of fertility.
[1] Wikipedia: “… a group of institutions within the government system of the Catholic Church whose aim was to combat heresy.”; to non-Catholics, it is a scandal.
So, this fun holiday with the appearances that it will just give the children a time of excitement and play, was designed purposely to use them as sacrifices to pagan idols. Yet, the Church looks the other way, while our children are drawn to observe it from another perspective instead of exposing and abolishing such works, ideologies and principles from the church altogether with the truth that will draw them out of ignorance while the enemy continues to strategize against them!
Halloween is a pagan holiday and Christians need to line up with the Word of God and let go of paganistic cultures and traditions and honor the Moeds that YAH has commanded us to follow (Leviticus 23) that the Church should be teaching; but most are not.
So when you are “NOT” celebrating these pagan holidays but observing a new tradition in their place, you are still disobeying the ordinances of YAHUAH.
“For, as we draw closer to the end of days, the enemy is going to try to deceive you to think that you have faltered in your decision making and understanding, as he did Eve in the garden. Don’t you be wine-bread-bibletaken in as Eve was by satan’s cunning, deceptive mannerisms.
Just simply do what YAH has commanded us to do.”
Wake Up!

Deuteronomy 18:10-12) 10There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

If you have read my Spiritual Bio, you know that I have been in ministry to date for 30+ years; originally stepping up as Children’s Church Director, training parents to become Teachers and children to become Warriors. And a few years later, stabilizing my foundation in Prayer as an Intercessory Prayer Warrior, Teacher, Writer, Evangelist, Prophet(ess), Pastor and Apostle. I have learned over the years that we are not called to Evangelize, Teach and Preach our 'minds' or to compete with others out of vain glory; but to submit ourselves as the mouthpiece of YAH. As we look at the Old Testament Prophets we know that they were not always “on” duty. There were times that we see them farming, fishing, even sleeping, doing regular things with regular folks. So we know that they had a period of R&R (rest and relaxation) and were not always found on the battlefield.
As we look back at the original Israelites, whether to rest or to move forward with Him, we see them moving; not pondering or contemplating, but instantly, at the command of YAH picking up their tents and running behind Him.
[Num 9:20-23 KJV] 20 And [so] it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. 21 And [so] it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and [that] the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether [it was] by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. 22 Or [whether it were] two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. 23 At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
I say this to say, I’ve recently been on sabbatical[1]. Not one of us is called to “do it all”. We are warned not to pride fully see our own selves as God’s hero, for we know that as with Elijah, though we (alone) may slay 450, YAH may have “7,000” set aside for His purpose. We are not His lone rangers. And He is not going to give us the whole strategy or plan. Therefore, there comes a time that He silences Himself from us (individually) that we may take time (Shabbat/cease) to rest from what He had strengthened us to do and revive or regenerate us for what is about to come.
So, that’s where I have been these past few months of silence. As I have mentioned before, I speak when He speaks to/through me, and not of myself. As some do to evoke followers, I can’t make up a Word from the Lord. I submit myself to Him who speaks through me. And only say and do as He instructs.
And as Moses found himself ostracized by the One who had been with him through 40 years of wilderness, I am cautious to stand still when He silences His voice to me (in leadership). And I move forward when He moves in my presence. So while there have been no recent teleconferences and prayer calls, I have been (at the unction of the Lord) busying myself, separating my ministries that He entrusts me and my family with from social media, and establishing our locations back to our websites.
Now that that is done, my ear continues to be attentive to His still small voice which is now beckoning me back to Him, for instructions as I have also transitioned our prayer line from the Talkshoe site to a more private Free Conference Call.com line where we (who are called by His name) will be more focused on just prayer. Subsequently, our Talkshoe line will revert back to our teaching platform where we are currently seeking Prayer Moderators as we draw into a 24/7 prayer line.
I await His instructions regarding this Fellowships' direction.
Grace & Peace,
Apostle Ramona
[1] Sabbatical or a sabbatical (from Hebrew: shabbat (שבת (i.e., Sabbath), in Latin: sabbaticus, in Greek: sabbatikos (σαββατικός, literally a "ceasing") is a rest from work, or a break, often lasting from one month to a year. The concept of sabbatical has a source in shmita, described in several places in the Bible. Wikipedia.com
